A shorter hike planned viaCHAOS to Carson Falls in Marin Municipal Water District lands north of Mt Tamalpais.
Due to some miscommunication (cars arrived late and later) the hike was done in two groups, I was in the earlier group of two. The hike to Carson Falls is mostly well graded fire roads, the single track dropping to the falls and continuing down the valley and climbing back to the fire road was mostly of use trail quality and grade.
Sunny and cool, some breeze on the ridges, pleasant for a brisk hike.
About 5 miles, 1300 feet of ascent, 2:30 on the trail.
