Another dual purpose walk, besides marking off three more hills, I took a bunch of pictures of housing/buildings, partly to be added to the cache of images of victorians I've been putting together, partly for the point of taking pictures of the most interesting building on each city block I passed. Along the way, I wandered upon Inspiration Point in the Presidio, a remnant serpentive grassland that is receiving a variety of restoration work. A later highlight was a different view of Rodin's Thinker.
This hike was the seventh of a series of hikes in San Francisco to address a surprising absence in my local hiking...the total absence of the Hills of San Francisco from my peak list. San Francisco Peaks website. My current highest peak in San Francisco is Forest Hill (west of Laguna Honda) at 788 feet (6th highest overall). On this trip I went over Presidio Hill (387'), Robb Hill (385'), and Lincoln Heights (376').
About 9 miles, 1100+ feet of ascent.
The weather overcast and cool.
