This trip was part of the Buckeye Trail Project, running through the Winter of 2003-2004.
Brushing and treading the Buckeye Trail, between Buckeye Camp and the junction with the Cruickshank Trail.
Trail clear to the vicinity of the Cruickshank Ridge.
This was my first trailwork trip with the VWA, thanks to a cross-post on the CHAOS email list. I carpooled down with Rachel and Jean Paul.
The work was strenuous, but not excessively so, and tool skills learned as a child served me well. The Happy Hour and extended dinner at beautiful Buckeye Camp was amazing. Great company and food.
Sunday afternoon, we stopped at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park for a quick look-see at the famous waterfall.
Sunny and pleasant.
